TERMS OF SERVICE
PHOTBOOTHS NEWCASTLE — TERMS & CONDITIONS

We’ve kept things simple and transparent, so you know exactly what to expect.
1. Definitions
“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us” means Photobooths Newcastle.
“Client”, “you”, or “your” means the person or entity booking our services.
“Services” means photo booth hire, equipment, delivery, setup, operation, and associated digital or
printed photos.
2. Booking & Payment
A 20% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your event date.
The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before your event.
For bookings made within 14 days of the event, full payment is required at the time of booking.
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
Payments made via credit card or digital wallet incur a processing fee of 1.8% + $0.30.
Bank transfer is available with no additional fees.
Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received.
Pricing and availability are subject to change until your booking fee is paid.
3. Cancellation, Refunds & Rescheduling
All cancellations must be made in writing.
Refunds are calculated based on the total booking value and the notice provided:
• More than 90 days: 90% refund (booking fee retained)
• 31–90 days: 70% refund
• 15–30 days: 50% refund
• 14 days or less: no refund
Rescheduling is permitted once, subject to availability. If your new date is unavailable, standard
cancellation terms apply.
In cases of serious illness, family emergency, or compassionate circumstances, we may offer a partial
refund or credit at our discretion.
If we are unable to provide services due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund.
Refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
4. Client Responsibilities
The Client must provide:
• A safe, level space (minimum 3m x 3m)
• Access to a standard power outlet within 5 metres
• Adequate access for setup and pack-down
If access is delayed, this may reduce service time and does not entitle a refund.
The Client is responsible for the behaviour of all guests. Any damage, theft, or excessive cleaning
required due to misuse will be charged to the Client.
We reserve the right to pause or stop operation if safety is at risk or behaviour is inappropriate.
5. Equipment & Service
The hire period runs for the agreed booking time. Additional time may be requested and may incur
extra charges.
All equipment and props remain the property of Photobooths Newcastle and must be treated with
care.
6. Liability
We take care in delivering our services, however to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable
for:
• Indirect or consequential loss (including loss of enjoyment or event disruption)
• Delays caused by venue access, weather, or circumstances outside our control
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Intellectual Property & Photo Usage
You will receive your event photos after your booking.
Unless you notify us in writing prior to your event, you grant us permission to use selected images
for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes.
All branding, templates, and software remain our intellectual property and may not be used without
permission.
